A Latin Grammy Award-winning and Latin Grammy-nominated musician, Robert has built a career that bridges performance, education, production, and visual storytelling. As a lyricist and songwriter, Robert draws deeply from his own personal life experiences, using music as a way to tell honest, emotional, and relatable stories. His writing reflects moments of growth, struggle, faith, love, and perseverance, allowing listeners to connect with his music on a personal level. As the founder and CEO of Rimshot Studios, Robert has developed one of the region’s most respected modern music education programs, mentoring students in drums, percussion, musicianship, performance, and creativity. His teaching philosophy combines technical excellence with artistic expression, helping students develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for music. Robert’s artistic journey also includes performances and collaborations connected to projects such as A New Standard, Ahora Más Que Nunca, Conga Suits, Eternal Power, and Echos of a New Dawn, further showcasing the depth and diversity of his musical career. Recently, Robert has been experimenting with the latest innovations in AI music production through a groundbreaking project titled Water Pirate, an album for which he served as the sole producer, lyricist, and composer. Using AI technology as a creative tool, he recreated and expanded upon music he had already written, bringing the full album to life through a unique fusion of human artistry and modern innovation.

Robert has also work in several documentaries and films through the years within the roles of leading sessions and or recording sessions as musicians and MD.
